Align-Pilates R8-Pro Reformer
The R8-Pro, or “Retro 8-wheel,” is a Pilates reformer designed to replicate the specific geometry and features of Joseph Pilates’ original apparatus. This includes the traditional carriage and foot bar distances, dimensions, and heights. While it utilizes modern height-adjustable rope risers and Silent Ropes instead of leather straps, the design maintains a pulley position consistent with classic machines.
This compact reformer features four foot bar heights, including a flat position, and multiple rapid adjustment systems. It comes standard with four springs and includes dedicated space to add a fifth spring if required. The patented Rapid Change spring bar offers three positions for efficient carriage adjustments, while the Pro Rope adjusters located behind the shoulder rests allow for quick rope modifications. The unit is portable with integrated wheels and can be stored vertically when used with the optional Jump Board, reaching a standing height of 238 cm.
